the same design feature of the velocity stack found on the inlet
to the MAF sensor in the factory box this cast aluminum intake
carries the velocity stack radius outward to mate up with a 4.5"
high flow cone filter.
Xcceleration
3" Turbo-Back Exhaust System with Two Cats: Our
Turbo-back Exhaust System features the newest technology in Super
Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters and Exhaust Piping. Air flow is increased
dramatically to greatly increase your HP and Torque. Our System
is a constant 3" pipe size, which retains low end torque
and produces high air flow capacity. Our Super High Flow cats
flow over 502 cfm, increasing exhaust flow which reduces backpressure.
Backpressure forces exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber
and contaminates the next burn cycle. Reduced backpressure increases
exhaust scavenging from the combustion chamber giving you a cleaner,
more efficient burn. The increased momentum of the exhaust pulls
more air/fuel into the cylinders, hence increasing low end torque.

NOTE:
Under Federal EPA regulation, replacement of original
catalytic converters is allowed only if the original
converter(s) is missing, or the vehicle has more
than 50,000 miles or is at least five years old
and the need for a replacement has been established
and documented, or a local inspection program
has determined the existing converter is in need
of replacement. Please note that no aftermarket
catalytic converters are legal for installation
in California on OBD II vehicles (some 1994 &
1995, and all 1996 and later vehicles).
There
is a chance of seeing a CE Light: Inefficient
cat code when running less than two cats, so if
seen, contact us for the mechanical fix (sold
separately). All performance parts have been designed
and are intended for off highway application only.
Installation of these parts on a vehicle intended
for use on public roads may violate state or federal
laws and regulations including those relating
to emissions requirements and motor vehicle safety
standards.
**Note:
Please
replace the following OEM gaskets when installing the kit:
header, uppipe and turbo gaskets. Xcceleration.com highly
recommends you install a boost gauge, exhaust gas temperature
(EGT) gauge, and
air/fuel
gauge to monitor your car and ensure safe, reliable performance.
